Who we are
Copperbeach is a partnership between Gordon Watt and Milton Boyne. We are filmmakers first.

We each have over 25 years of experience in the broadcast industry. Milton comes from live news production at the BBC; Gordon has produced more than 100 long-form films for UK and international TV networks.

We know how to tell a story under pressure. We know how to make it look professional. Now, we bring that broadcast discipline to the corporate, industrial and charity sectors.

What we do
We produce podcasts, corporate films, and conference content, focussing on integrity and authenticity.

We are a boutique team, which keeps us agile. For larger projects, we use our network of trusted industry specialists to scale up. You get the right crew for the job, without paying for a large agency overhead.

Our technical expertise supports this approach:

Live-Switching: We manage multi-camera shoots that are edited in real-time. This allows for fast turnaround on complex series, used effectively in our recent work with video podcasts for Dogs Trust and Jean Campbell’s I’m Fine Podcast.

Documentary: We embed with our subjects. Whether filming in home studios or travelling abroad with artists, we work unobtrusively to capture authentic stories.

Audio Production: We bring broadcast standards to any room. We treat difficult spaces with sound absorption and high-end kit to ensure clarity, regardless of the background noise.

Our Style
We believe in natural storytelling. Our films look polished and cinematic, but they feel real. We avoid the artificial corporate look. We want your audience to trust what they see.

Where we work
We are based in the UK and travel wherever the work requires. In the last year, we have filmed across the UK and in Europe.
